Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced, dependable Landscape Maintenance Lead to oversee daily operations of a landscape crew. This role involves leading a team in maintaining residential and/or commercial properties, ensuring high-quality workmanship, efficiency, and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong knowledge of landscaping practices and the ability to train and motivate crew members.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and work alongside crew members in the maintenance of lawns, gardens, trees, and shrubs (mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, weeding, blowing, etc.). • Organize and manage daily job schedules and route efficiency. • Ensure jobs are completed on time, to quality standards, and within safety guidelines. Perform site walkthroughs to assess quality and identify additional service opportunities. Communicate professionally with clients as needed on-site. Train new crew members and enforce company standards and safety procedures. Maintain and report the condition of tools, trucks, and equipment. Submit daily job reports, time tracking, and notes using company systems (paper or digital).

Qualifications:

2+ years of landscape maintenance experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role. Strong understanding of landscaping equipment and maintenance techniques. Ability to read and interpret job site plans and instructions. Good communication and leadership skills. Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions.
