This position is primarily managerial and administrative in nature and focuses on fleet compliance, reporting, telematics, vehicle lifecycle management, and policy enforcement for service body trucks and transit vans supporting field operations. Key Responsibilities Fleet Administration & Compliance Coordinate and administer a non‑DOT fleet across California, Texas, and other operational states as needed Ensure compliance with company fleet policies and applicable state requirements Monitor vehicle recalls and coordinate timely completion of recall repairs Administer DMV pull notices and motor vehicle record (MVR) monitoring programs Qualify drivers for fleet eligibility in accordance with company and insurance requirements Enforce fleet, vehicle use, and driver policies consistently and professionally Telematics, Reporting & Data Management Manage fleet telematics systems and vehicle tracking platforms Generate and distribute fleet reports related to utilization, mileage, safety, maintenance, and cost control Analyze telematics and fleet data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities Maintain accurate and compliant fleet records and documentation Vehicle Lifecycle Management Coordinate vehicle issuance, reassignment, and recovery Manage vehicle ordering, upfitting coordination, and delivery timelines Track vehicles from acquisition through end‑of‑life Coordinate end‑of‑lease and de‑fleet returns to leasing companies in accordance with lease terms Maintain registrations, leases, titles, and related documentation Vendor & Internal Coordination Serve as primary point of contact for leasing companies, telematics providers, and fleet vendors Support operations, safety, and field leadership teams with fleet‑related needs Assist with policy updates, process improvements, and fleet efficiency initiatives Required Qualifications Strong administrative, organizational, and reporting skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Experience enforcing policies while maintaining positive working relationships Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and fleet or telematics systems Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Experience coordinating or managing a commercial or non‑DOT fleet preferred Experience with service or construction vehicles (service body trucks and vans) strongly preferred Experience with telematics systems, vehicle leasing, and lifecycle management preferred Valid driver's license required Working Conditions Primarily office‑based Some travel required to support fleet operations in California, Texas, and other business locations Pre‑Employment & Compliance Requirements Employment is contingent upon successful completion of job‑related background checks, motor vehicle record review, and pre‑employment screenings in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws Employment is at‑will , consistent with California and other applicable state employment laws What We Offer Hourly pay of $25.00 - $35.00 per hour , based on experience Comprehensive benefits package Paid time off and paid holidays Stable and growing multi‑state organization Opportunity to play a key role in fleet compliance, safety, and operational excellence Equal Employment Opportunity We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and are committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
