Shipping and Receiving Coordinator Velocity Aerospace - 1.0 Burbank, CA Job Details Full-time $21 - $26 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid time off Retirement plan Qualifications Scanning Administrative experience Attention to detail Organizational skills Manufacturing Full Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to support daily shipping, receiving, export documentation, and material control activities within our aerospace repair environment. This role will provide critical support to ensure accurate processing of incoming repairs, international shipments, work orders, and receiving activities. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable working with ERP systems, and able to maintain accurate documentation in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
Support daily shipping and receiving operations, including documentation review and material tracking. Monitor international orders and coordinate export approval processes. Review invoices and shipment documentation to ensure required export information is complete, including ECCN, end-user, and end-user country details. Submit export documentation to the appropriate teams for approval and maintain accurate records. Support creation of work orders by reviewing customer repair orders (ROs), entering information into ERP systems, and ensuring documentation accuracy. Scan and maintain incoming repair orders and related records. Assist with receiving activities, material identification, inspection documentation, and inventory accuracy. Serve as backup support for critical stockroom and receiving functions. Maintain organized records and follow established procedures for traceability and compliance. Support continuous improvement efforts within shipping, receiving, and materials processes.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, materials, inventory, inspection, or administrative support. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Experience working with ERP systems, databases, or inventory management systems. Ability to review documentation and identify missing or incorrect information. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across departments.
Preferred Experience:
Aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, defense, or other regulated industry experience. Experience with export documentation or international shipments. Experience with receiving inspection, quality documentation, or material traceability. Experience supporting FAA Part 145, AS9100, or similar quality environments.
Pay:
$21.00 - $26.00 per hour
