We are a fast-paced commercial printing and graphics manufacturing company producing and shipping projects throughout the United States and internationally. This position is responsible for coordinating daily outgoing shipments and making sure every order is shipped accurately, on time, and according to customer requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment, and experienced coordinating multiple shipments, carriers, and delivery requirements throughout the day. Responsibilities Coordinate daily outgoing shipments, including FedEx, UPS, LTL freight, dedicated trucks, couriers, and local deliveries. Schedule carrier pickups and coordinate delivery requirements. Verify shipping addresses, quantities, shipping methods, service levels, and customer instructions before shipment. Verify the correct customer or company shipping account is used before processing shipments. Review shipping paperwork, labels, bills of lading, and other required documentation for accuracy. Track important shipments and communicate delays or delivery issues. Coordinate closely with production, fulfillment, packout, customer service/account management, and warehouse personnel. Communicate immediately when shipping instructions are missing, unclear, or conflicting. Obtain freight quotes and assist with selecting appropriate transportation options. Help control freight costs and prevent unnecessary expedited shipping charges. Assist with international shipping documentation and customs requirements. Assist with freight claims involving damaged, delayed, or lost shipments. Maintain organized and accurate shipping records. Perform a final verification before shipments leave the facility. Help identify and correct shipping issues before they affect the customer. Qualifications Previous shipping, logistics, warehouse, fulfillment, or manufacturing experience preferred. Experience with FedEx, UPS, LTL freight, truck freight, and local courier services strongly preferred. Experience preparing bills of lading and shipping documentation. International shipping experience is a plus. Strong computer and data-entry skills. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with production teams, office staff, drivers, and outside carriers. Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Dependable and able to take ownership of shipping responsibilities.
