• Senior Lead to oversee and optimize inbound logistics operations within our distribution center.

This pivotal role involves leading a team to ensure the efficient receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming materials, while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and process improvement. As a senior leader in warehouse operations, you will drive team performance, implement best practices in inventory control, and uphold compliance with safety regulations to support seamless distribution center functions. Duties Lead and manage the inbound warehouse team, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback to foster a motivated and efficient work environment Oversee the receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming shipments using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to ensure accuracy and timeliness Coordinate with logistics partners and carriers to schedule deliveries and resolve any inbound issues promptly Utilize forklift and material handling equipment safely for loading, unloading, stacking, and organizing inventory within the warehouse Implement process improvements to streamline inbound workflows, reduce errors, and enhance overall efficiency in line with lean management principles Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and inventory management systems to prevent discrepancies Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and enforce proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during all warehouse activities Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution operations, including inbound logistics and inventory control within a fast-paced environment Demonstrated leadership skills with prior warehouse supervisor or team management experience Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and Microsoft Office tools Skilled in operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners safely and effectively Familiarity with process improvement methodologies like lean management to enhance operational efficiency Excellent managerial communication skills for team leadership, training, and coordination across departments Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to safety protocols such as OSHA regulations Prior experience in distribution center operations or logistics is highly desirable Join us as we streamline warehouse inbound processes through innovative leadership!
