Coordinate daily outbound operations, including order picking, packing, staging, and loading shipments onto trucks. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems to track inventory levels, process shipments, and maintain accurate records. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners safely and effectively to facilitate material movement. Implement process improvements using lean management principles to enhance workflow efficiency, reduce errors, and minimize delays. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards during all warehouse activities, including heavy lifting and materials handling. Collaborate with other departments to optimize distribution center operations and resolve any logistical issues promptly. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution, logistics, or supply chain management with a focus on outbound operations. Demonstrated leadership skills with previous warehouse supervisor or team management experience. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control practices, and inventory management systems. Ability to operate forklift trucks, material handling equipment, and use RF scanners safely. Excellent managerial communication skills to motivate teams, delegate tasks effectively, and ensure clear instructions are followed. Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as lean management to streamline warehouse workflows. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and materials handling. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and perform tasks requiring physical stamina throughout shifts.
