In this vital role, you will oversee daily shipping activities, coordinate logistics, and ensure timely and accurate dispatch of goods. Your leadership will help optimize warehouse distribution processes, maintain inventory control, and uphold safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive process improvements in a dynamic environment, ensuring our supply chain runs smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Supervise the shipping and receiving team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and safety compliance Oversee inventory management processes, including stock levels, order accuracy, and warehouse organization using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as AS400 or similar platforms Coordinate logistics with third-party logistics providers (3PL), carriers, and internal departments to meet delivery deadlines Ensure proper materials handling techniques are followed, including heavy lifting procedures and mechanical equipment operation such as forklifts Implement process improvements to streamline shipping workflows, reduce errors, and enhance overall efficiency Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory control logs, and compliance documentation in accordance with OSHA standards Conduct regular safety audits, enforce OSHA regulations, and promote a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel Experience Proven experience in warehouse management or supervision within a distribution or logistics setting Strong background in inventory management, shipping & receiving operations, and warehouse distribution processes Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400 or similar platforms Demonstrated leadership skills in team management, training staff on materials handling and safety protocols Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehousing and materials handling Mechanical knowledge related to forklift operation and heavy equipment maintenance preferred Familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment processes and 3PL logistics solutions is a plus Join us to lead a dedicated team committed to excellence in warehouse operations!
