This is a functional, lead-level role responsible for managing domestic shipments while guiding a small team of 3-4 logistics associates. This role bypasses the headache of international customs and carrier rate negotiations—focusing instead on accurate staging, physical loading/unloading, and seamless system tracking.

Qualifications:

Experience:

2-3 years of shipping and receiving experience, ideally within an industrial, building materials, or heavy-product environment.

Logistics Knowledge:

Solid understanding of domestic freight shipping.

Software:

Computer skills with SAP experience preferred (or experience with a similar major ERP system).

Leadership Style:

A grounded, practical leader who enjoys being physically involved in the day-to-day work while keeping the team on track.

High School Responsibilities Team Guidance:

Oversee and work alongside a tight-knit team of 3-4 shipping/receiving associates to ensure accurate order fulfillment.

Domestic Logistics:

Coordinate all inbound and outbound Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) and Full-Truckload (FTL) shipments.

Physical & Digital Tracking:

Balance the physical loading/unloading of stone materials with light administrative logging and order verification.

System Management:

Utilize the inventory system ( SAP ) to track shipments, print manifests, and log incoming materials.
