POSITION PROFILE
Responsible for the provision of facility maintenance and support services. Ensures the safety, security and convenience of facility occupants and guests, while also ensuring the cost-effective operation of Corporate facilities. Coordinates with Property Manager on landlord provided services. Job Duties and Responsibilities Examine building systems for working ability, through hands-on involvement and use of contract services providers, maintains plumbing, electrical, HVAC and related systems. Coordinate daily facility operations including receptionists. Oversee/ensure custodial services to buildings; sets up preventive maintenance schedules as appropriate / assigned. Operate Service Desk logs and maintains the facility work orders related to the day porters. Perform daily administration of access control system (as applicable) and all related employee badges. Also ensures timely addition and deletion of individuals building accesses in coordination with Ricoh policies and procedures. Conduct weekly employee orientation on the security and safety programs at the site. Works collaboratively with facility security personnel to optimize the security of company facilities at all times. Assist local and Real Estate Territory Managers in tracking floor space usage and monitoring of approved building modifications projects for facility occupants. Coordinate / execute facility occupant moves within and between facilities as required. Maintain CAD file drawings depicting office / workstation layouts. Ensure special needs are met for conference / training room set ups. Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
(Education, Experience, and Certifications) Minimum 4-6 years building services related experience. High School diploma or equivalent is required. Knowledge of CAD design required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. Capable of working in a fast paced environment. Good customer service skills. Good organization skills. Versatile, dexterous and able to operate hand tools. Ability to follow directions. Ability to work as a team or individually.
WORKING CONDITIONS, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Typically, an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level. Work assignments are diversified. Interpret, comprehend and apply complex material, data and instruction; prepare, provide and convey diversified information. Minimal physical effort required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically with less than 10 lbs. (e.g., papers, books, files and small parts, etc.). Moderate dexterity; regular application of basic skills (calculator, keyboard, hand tools, eye/hand coordination).
