In this vital role, you will oversee the outbound logistics process, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient shipment of products. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize warehouse distribution workflows, and maintain high standards of inventory management and safety compliance. Responsibilities Supervise daily outbound shipping activities, including order picking, packing, and loading procedures to meet delivery deadlines. Coordinate with warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to track inventory levels, shipment statuses, and order accuracy. Manage inventory control processes, ensuring proper storage, handling, and documentation of materials using best practices in warehouse management. Lead a team of warehouse associates, providing training, performance feedback, and motivation to foster a productive work environment. Oversee shipping operations, including heavy lifting, materials handling, and the safe operation of forklifts in compliance with OSHA standards. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in logistics workflows while maintaining safety standards across all operations. Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to streamline distribution channels and optimize warehouse distribution strategies. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse supervision or team management within a logistics or distribution environment. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse management systems (WMS). Hands-on experience with shipping & receiving procedures, materials handling equipment (including forklifts), and heavy lifting techniques. Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is a plus. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols for warehouse operations. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and process documentation. Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a safety-first culture in fast-paced settings such as e-commerce or 3PL warehouses.
