As a Shipping Coordinator you will be responsible for the daily shipping of all B2B orders going to different retail locations and for conducting a final check to ensure that all products, documentation (Bill of Lading, load number, customer PO, etc.) and auxiliary items are included in the orders and packaged correctly. This team member will provide support to the Shipping Lead and will help troubleshooting any related shipping matters along with communicating unresolved issues to Leadership for further investigation. Essential Job Functions Scan and take photos of each order/pallet and verify that the correct shipping label is attached Make final review of each order's quality assurance form to check that all items (products/documentation) are present. Verify that the shipping details (PO#, BOL#, Retail Store/location, etc.) and carrier match the bill of lading and the B2B order log and any special instructions have been carried out Identify Hazmat/Non-Hazmat shipments, ensuring the proper documentation has been provided by the Client Services team Place orders in appropriate staging locations by following established shipping guidelines Daily confirmation of all orders being picked up by each carrier before end of shift Responsible for always maintaining a clean and very well-organized shipping area Responsible for shipping log (daily sign off sheet) to ensure all carriers checked in/out upon arrival and departure Understand and follow current AMS Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Work together with all team members to promote a community of cooperation and respect High School diploma or equivalent Previous shipping, logistics and/or warehouse experience a plus On-site presence consistent and reliable attendance Able to successfully learn and perform essential functions of role as outlined above Good verbal, reading and written communication skills Able to work independently, strong sense of urgency and follow-through Good organizational skills and detailed oriented, focus on efficiency and accuracy Able to successfully prioritize and manage various time-sensitive job duties Be able to interact with all other departments, team player is essential Proficiency with basic computer applications and internal software systems Able to routinely lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 35 lbs. Willingness to become forklift certified Working Conditions This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
