Santa Fe Springs, CA Job Details Full-time 2 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Position Summary The Distribution Center (DC) Supervisor plays an important role in supporting daily warehouse operations and leading teams to meet productivity, accuracy, and safety goals. This position works closely with department managers to oversee day-to-day operations within the distribution center while helping maintain a positive and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, adaptable, and able to lead in a fast-paced environment while supporting team development and operational success. Essential Functions DC Supervisors may support different departments based on business needs. Schedules may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime during peak periods. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist department managers with overseeing daily warehouse operations Help ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are consistently met Monitor team performance and support operational efficiency Provide coaching, guidance, and training to associates Communicate updates, progress, and operational concerns with leadership Promote and enforce company policies and safety procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Support a positive and professional team environment Adapt to changing operational needs and priorities Assist with compliance and process improvement initiatives as needed Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Previous warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution experience preferred Prior leadership or training experience is a plus Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills preferred Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and within a team setting Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus Knowledge & Skills Strong leadership and team-building skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to motivate and support team members Ability to obtain and maintain warehouse equipment certifications as required Physical & Working Conditions The physical and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this role.
