• Full-time Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Yard Supervisor to lead our yard operations and ensure seamless logistics flow.

In this vital role, you will oversee the daily management of yard activities, coordinate transportation and inventory movements, and maintain safety and efficiency standards. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize warehouse distribution, and support our supply chain management efforts. This position offers a dynamic environment where proactive problem-solving and strong organizational skills are essential to keep operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Supervise daily yard activities, including inbound and outbound shipments, freight handling, and materials management Coordinate transportation planning and fleet management to ensure timely delivery and pickup schedules Oversee shipping & receiving processes, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory control Manage warehouse distribution tasks such as picking & packing, packaging, and category management Utilize transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management system (WMS), and ERP systems to track inventory levels, shipments, and operational data Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline supply chain operations Ensure compliance with safety regulations, proper materials handling procedures, and equipment operation (including forklift certification) Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse experience, logistics, or supply chain management with a focus on yard or warehouse supervision Strong knowledge of inventory management, transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management system (WMS), and ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms Familiarity with procurement, sourcing, demand planning, freight forwarding (including NVOCC), 3PL providers, and shipping & receiving processes Excellent data analysis skills for supply chain analytics and process optimization Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Effective leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and coordinate cross-functional activities Relevant certifications such as forklift operation or CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) are preferred Join us as a Yard Supervisor to lead our logistics operations with energy and precision.
