This is a working manager role, meaning you won't just lead from the office—you'll be actively involved on the floor, working alongside your team to ensure daily operations run safely, efficiently, and accurately. Hours:
Monday - Friday 5:00am - 1:30pm Key Responsibilities Lead by example as a working manager, assisting with daily warehouse activities including picking, shipping, receiving, and inventory control Support the implementation and administration of operational policies and procedures across all warehouse functions Assist with hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of warehouse associates, including progressive discipline when needed Serve as an active member of the Safety Committee, including: Scheduling and leading monthly safety meetings Conducting quarterly facility inspections Addressing and resolving safety concerns Delivering equipment operator training Ensure a safe work environment for employees, visitors, and vendors Review and approve employee timekeeping to ensure accuracy prior to payroll processing Utilize warehouse systems including Prelude, Vocollect, Dayforce, Insight Via, and TMS Partner with external vendors on maintenance and purchasing to optimize operating costs Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Provide coverage and operational support for warehouse supervisors/managers as needed Qualifications 5-7 years of leadership experience in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse or distribution environment Strong technical skills, including proficiency with: Microsoft Office Warehouse & Transportation Management Systems (WMS/TMS) ERP systems and shipping software Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to operate (and become certified on) warehouse equipment, including: Forklifts (previous certification preferred) Pallet jacks Shrink wrap machines Ability to meet physical demands with or without accommodation, including: Standing, walking, and sitting throughout the day Frequent twisting, bending, and movement Lifting up to 50 pounds regularly Strong commitment to safety, with the ability to work in a constant state of alertness Why Join Us?
