Job Description
The Warehouse Lead will oversee pick/pack team and perform pick/pack operations. Support Wave planning operations. Ensure all pick/pack operations are in compliance to ISO 9001 and company standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Define and explain jobs to personnel. Set standards and allocate workload to personnel. Monitor personal productivity levels to ensure meeting appropriate industry standards. Ensure all documentation and procedures are performed according to quality, productivity, and efficiency standards. Evaluate workflow and suggest process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency. Complete reports to monitor operations such as show orders as requested. Return materials overs back to stock. Report stock problems as required. Counsel and develop picker and packers who do not meet productivity standards. Provide cross training for personnel. Ensure administrative work is timely and accurate. Attend department meetings as required. Ensures a strong commitment to quality and adheres to allISO 9001
related standards. Complies with all safety policies and reports any safety issues immediately to a manager. All other duties/ responsibilities as deemed appropriate by management.SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to effectively explain department jobs to personnel of varying skill and experience levels. Understanding ofISO 9001
procedures and documentation requirements for warehouse. Strong math, reading, clerical and computer skills. Excellent prioritization and problem solving skills. Ability to work independently toward general results. Other Duties as Assigned Must demonstrate working proficiency of the English language Can effectively communicate with, but not limited to, English speaking employees/other business contacts (contractors, customers, vendors, etc). Successfully comprehends business materials written in English ( job assignments, instructions, etc)QUALIFICATIONS
Education :
High school diploma/GED.Physical Demands :
Heavy lifting to 80 lbs.V. EXPERIENCE
