Fully Onsite Position Summary The Shift Supervisor oversees day-to-day operations within an assigned area or shift in a Kuehne+Nagel 4PL logistics facility. This role ensures 4PL partner activities are executed safely, accurately, and in line with KPIs, SOPs, and customer requirements. The position focuses on operational oversight, performance monitoring, issue resolution, and escalation rather than direct people management. Key Responsibilities- Oversee inbound, outbound, picking, packing, VAS, and other assigned operations.
- Monitor productivity, service levels, quality, throughput, and backlog performance.
- Serve as the primary Kuehne+Nagel contact for 4PL shift and area leads.
- Ensure adequate staffing, process compliance, and adherence to standard work.
- Drive corrective actions and escalate operational risks or recurring issues.
- Ensure compliance with QSHE, safety standards, site rules, and customer requirements.
- Support incident investigations, audits, and compliance activities.
- Coordinate with planning, inventory, IT, and maintenance teams to resolve operational issues.
- Participate in daily meetings, KPI reviews, and shift handovers.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of process changes. Key Competencies

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-5 years of warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations experience.
- Experience in contract logistics, outsourced, or managed-service environments.
- Understanding of warehouse processes and operational KPIs.
- Ability to influence and drive results without direct authority. Preferred
- Experience in 3PL/4PL operations.
- Experience in high-volume sort centers, hubs, or fast-paced operations.
- Familiarity with WMS and operational reporting tools.
- Knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement principles.
