LIQUID ASPHALT TERMINAL OPERATOR C.W.
Roberts Contracting, Inc. (CWR) is a growing road construction company. Our company is seeking a Liquid Asphalt Terminal Operator for our Gulf Coast Terminal in Panama City. The Terminal Operator has the responsibility of controlling the flow of material throughout the facility and maintaining certifications as required. The Terminal Operator loads trucks, unloads carriers (Railcars, Barges and Trucks). Conducts daily inspections on equipment and conducts minor repairs as needed. This position is a non-exempt position reporting directly to the Terminal Manager.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Participate in the weekly safety meeting Record daily, beginning and ending inventory levels on tanks Communicate with Lab Technician to determine product certifications Transfer material from tank to tank Verify load information and loads Trucks the with appropriate Liquid Asphalt Create Bill of Ladings (BOL's) and Bituminous Material Test Reports (If required) Modify asphalt as directed and controls raw material usage Receive and inspect liquid asphalt (railcar, barge, truck) Unload carriers as needed Inspect equipment daily Conduct minor repairs on equipment as needed Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Previous experience in an Asphalt Terminal is a plus Ability to conduct self in a professional manner Must have reliable transportation Ability to work 12-hour shifts and weekends as needed Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds Ability to stand for long periods of time Proficient in Microsoft Excel Ability to analyze tasks and perform safely Ability to work in a team environment or as an individual Must be able to meet company MVR requirements and have a valid Florida driver's license Employer conducts drug testing and background check We offer competitive salaries and fringe benefits.
