Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to handle day-to-day operations in our warehouse. This role involves inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping coordination, and equipment maintenance to support project needs. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient handling of tools, consumables, and PPE while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. Salary will be dependent on experience and qualifications. This position requires a pre-employment drug test. Hours for this role will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory & Procurement:
Receive tool lists from Project Managers (PMs) and review available stock. Source missing items from suppliers, Home Depot, or Amazon and provide cost estimates to PMs. Maintain accurate inventory records in a "Live" Google Drive spreadsheet.
Shipping & Logistics:
Note project start dates and engage Freight Forwarders using PO numbers in email communications. Determine shipping dates and arrange for freight pickup. Pick and pack all items for each project, ensuring accurate commercial invoices/packing lists. Submit any necessary hazardous materials (HazMat) documentation. Store all commercial invoices in the respective job file on Google Drive.
Receiving & Equipment Maintenance:
Inspect returned toolboxes and check electrical equipment for damage. Coordinate equipment repairs with suppliers, obtaining cost approvals from Senior Management. Clean, organize, and restock all tools upon return.
Warehouse & Forklift Operations:
Always maintain a clean and organized warehouse. Obtain and maintain a forklift license. Manage forklift propane levels and ensure the forklift is in optimal working condition.
Requirements:
Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed. Proficiency in Google Drive and inventory tracking systems. Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one).
