Shipping & Receiving Coordinator Reports to:

Purchasing Manager Job Summary The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for efficient receiving and distribution of all goods and services of the Club. Perform storeroom operation tasks including but not limited to receiving, counting, inspecting, unpacking, storing, documenting and distributing merchandise. Assists Purchasing Manager in all their duties as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities and other duties as may be assigned relating to this position. Receive and inspect all deliveries according to Club's standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with all product specifications, prices and quantities stated in the purchase order. Organize all storeroom locations and ensure proper rotation of all products using First In- First Out Method. (FIFO) Perform a digital receiving record for every order received using Procure to Pay and Back Office Systems. Submit invoices in a daily basis to Purchasing Manager. Transport all goods, materials and supplies efficiently to the right department. Fulfill requisitions and distribute goods and products to appropriate locations using dollies, handcarts, golf carts and/or company van. Handles and document movement of merchandise from storage areas to the respective departments through a requisition form. Maintains high sanitation standards for all storerooms, walk-in coolers, freezers and the loading dock to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Sweep and mop all areas daily. Ensure proper operation of freezers, refrigerators, and walk-in coolers and notify management of any repair equipment needed. Pick up and deliver items outside of the club when necessary. Must be able to operate golf carts and company van following safety rules and regulations. General Requirements Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner. Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests. Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines. Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner. Attending all the club required meetings and trainings. Maintain excellent attendance in compliance with club standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the club. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag. Comply with The Jupiter Island Club Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient club operations. Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions. Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary. Physical Requirements Flexible availability and shifts longer than 8 hours are often required. Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Must be able to handle hot and cold interior and outdoors conditions including but not limited to refrigerated/freezer areas for an extended period. Ability to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and may occasionally be required to climb or balance. during entire shift To perform the essential functions of this job, the employee must have the sensory abilities to hear, speak and to identify and distinguish colors. Education and/or Experience A high school diploma or GED. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
