We are currently hiring two Warehouse Supervisors to join our team in Sarasota— one for 1st shift and one for 2nd shift . The Warehouse Supervisor will lead a team of up to 25 associates and be responsible for ensuring that daily operations run safely, efficiently, and in line with customer expectations. This position works closely with the customer to ensure service expectations are consistently met. The Supervisor will also provide direction and support to leads, trainers, and warehouse associates. The Warehouse Supervisor reports directly to the Site Manager . Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of up to 25 warehouse associates . Direct daily warehouse activities, including unloading, picking, labeling, sorting, packing, stacking, and sanitation. Ensure associates follow company and customer safety procedures. Monitor productivity, quality, attendance, and overall team performance. Train, coach, and develop associates to improve performance and productivity. Communicate effectively with customers and address concerns promptly and professionally. Investigate and resolve customer issues involving damaged product, equipment, delays, or other service concerns. Make appropriate adjustments to ensure customer satisfaction. Ensure each shift operates efficiently, effectively, and profitably. Communicate and cooperate with supervisors, leads, trainers, and coworkers. Complete required documentation, reports, and data entry accurately. Follow all company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations. Qualifications & Skills At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume distribution or warehouse environment. At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Experience training, coaching, and developing associates. Ability to effectively manage team performance and address performance concerns. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Excellent organization and time-management skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Dependable and reliable. Basic data-entry and reporting skills. Ability to operate and maintain warehouse equipment safely. Ability to consistently lift 20-40 lbs. Ability to work in dry, refrigerated, and freezer environments . High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Forklift certification required within 90 days of employment . Familiarity with RF scanners/equipment is preferred . Physical & Work Environment Requirements This is an active warehouse position. Supervisors must be comfortable working on their feet for extended periods and performing physical warehouse tasks as needed. Schedule 1st Shift and 2nd Shift positions are available. Shift times may vary based on the needs of the operation.
