In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily distribution activities, manage inventory control, and ensure efficient logistics processes. Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling to ensure smooth operations. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing clear direction, training, and support to maximize productivity. Oversee inventory management processes using and implementing warehouse management systems to maintain accurate stock levels and facilitate efficient distribution. Coordinate warehouse distribution activities with logistics providers, and internal departments to meet delivery deadlines. Implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency, safety compliance (OSHA standards), and overall warehouse performance. Manage forklift operations and mechanical equipment maintenance to ensure safe handling of heavy loads and materials. Conduct regular audits of inventory control procedures, shipping & receiving accuracy, and materials handling practices to minimize errors. Skills Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, warehouse management systems (WMS). Proven experience in warehouse supervision, team management, and logistics coordination. Expertise in inventory control, process improvement initiatives, and materials handling techniques. Skilled in forklift operation with relevant certification; mechanical knowledge is a plus. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for heavy lifting and safe warehouse operations. Experience working within e-commerce environments or 3PL logistics providers is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and implement operational strategies confidently.

Pay:

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
