Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Parts Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee inventory management, coordinate warehouse distribution activities, and ensure the smooth flow of parts and materials throughout the facility. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize logistics, and uphold safety standards, all while fostering a motivated team environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage a fast-paced warehouse environment, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and logistics expertise to support our operational excellence. Responsibilities Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and materials handling to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Lead and manage warehouse team members, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback to foster a high-performing team. Oversee inventory management processes using warehouse management systems and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels and streamline operations. Coordinate logistics for inbound and outbound shipments, including 3PL (third-party logistics) providers, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with safety standards such as OSHA. Implement process improvements to enhance warehouse workflows, reduce errors, and increase productivity across all distribution functions. Operate forklifts and other heavy lifting equipment safely while adhering to OSHA regulations; ensure team compliance with safety protocols. Maintain detailed records of shipping & receiving activities, inventory adjustments, and safety inspections for audit readiness. Skills Extensive experience in inventory management, warehouse distribution, and logistics coordination. Proven ability in process improvement initiatives within a warehouse setting. Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, and other inventory control software. Mechanical knowledge related to materials handling equipment such as forklifts; certification preferred. Deep understanding of OSHA safety standards applicable to warehousing operations. Experience with e-commerce fulfillment processes and heavy materials handling. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in shipping & receiving tasks.
