The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the shipping and logistics operations within our distribution center. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Shipping Coordinator will ensure that all outgoing packages are processed accurately and timely, contributing to our e-commerce order fulfillment efforts. Duties Coordinate and oversee the shipping process for all outgoing packages. Coordinate daily outbound shipments with carriers, including FedEx, UPS, LTL, and other logistics providers. Ensure accurate picking, packing, and fulfillment of orders according to specifications. Receive products from suppliers and ensure items are properly checked, documented, and organized. Fulfill local orders accurately and on schedule. Maintain inventory accuracy by performing regular checks and updates. Collaborate with warehouse staff to streamline operations and improve efficiency. Utilize basic math skills to calculate shipping weights and dimensions. Prepare shipping documentation and labels for all outgoing shipments. Communicate with internal departments, including production, sales, and customer service, to ensure orders are shipped on schedule. Assist in managing and organizing warehouse inventory and supplies. Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies in collaboration with the warehouse team.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse coordination. Familiarity with inventory management systems and shipping platforms (SHOPIFY, SHIPSTATION) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Standing and walking for long periods on concrete floors. Work inside low temperature enviroment Experience Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred, Familiarity with e-commerce operations and order fulfillment processes is a plus. Proficient in using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Basic math skills necessary for calculating shipping requirements. Experience in package handling, including loading and unloading shipments.
