Job Description

Position Overview:
The Warehouse Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate operation of the warehouse. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including overseeing the accuracy of shipments, supervising various warehouse activities, and actively participating in inventory management. The Warehouse Supervisor will report directly to the Operations Director and is expected to collaborate effectively with all departments and shipping vendors to maintain the smooth flow of goods and information.
Key Responsibilities:
Check Accuracy of Shipments:
Ensure that all outgoing shipments are accurate and complete, verifying that the right items, quantities, and documentation accompany each order.
Supervise Warehouse Activities:
Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day activities within the warehouse, including picking, shipping, receiving, and cycle counting, to maintain productivity and accuracy.
Inventory Management:
Actively participate in maintaining inventory accuracy. This includes ensuring proper labeling, organization, and timely updating of inventory records. Coordinate and generate all requests for inter-warehouse transfers. Assist in

Be prepared to assist in any department that requires additional support. This flexibility is essential to maintain the overall efficiency of warehouse operations.
Physical Counts:
Coordinate and conduct physical inventory counts as required, ensuring compliance with established procedures and timely reconciliation of discrepancies.
Communication:
Maintain constant and effective communication with shipping vendors to coordinate shipments, resolve issues, and ensure timely deliveries.
Information Sharing:
Provide accurate and timely information to other departments as needed, ensuring a seamless flow of data between warehouse operations and other functions, such as sales, customer service, and production. Have a full understanding of warehouse, parts, and locations.
Safety and Compliance:
Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including those related to warehouse start of day and end of day as well as safety protocols for warehouse team.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is a plus. Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and distribution processes. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Effective communication skills for interaction with team members and external vendors. Bilingual (English & Spanish) strongly preferred. Proficiency in the use of warehouse management systems and basic computer applications. Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy objects as required. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.
Reporting:
The Warehouse Supervisor reports directly to the Operations Director and collaborates closely with other department heads and personnel to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse and timely fulfillment of customer orders. Pay:
$58,300.00 - $60,000.00 per year
