Position Title:
3rdShift Warehouse Supervisor Hours:
M- F 1:30pm-end of production
Pay Range:
70k range- Salaried
GENERAL SUMMARY
Ensures the warehouse team complies with company policies and procedures. Oversees and monitors the operational activities within the warehouse including inventory, order pulling, loading, product restock, receiving and truck check-in. Assists Warehouse Manager with coaching and counseling team members. Accountable for performance in areas such as productivity, quality, housekeeping, damage prevention and safety. Works with peers in operations and other departments to resolve challenges and find solutions that will improve the overall operation of the facility.Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
Plans, prioritizes and communicates the daily work assignments for his/her direct reports. Coordinates efforts with peers to improve overall team performance. Ensures work is completed on time and done in a manner that meets expectations regarding quality and safety. Focuses on conditions in the building (safety risks, damaged racking, inventory issues, and building issues) and works with senior leadership team to resolve the issues. Upholds standards for product code dates and product storage to ensure quality. Works closely with warehouse manager to proactively resolve issues in the warehouse and determine best course of action. Mentors and coaches his/her team and sets the example for the Company's core values and leadership competencies. Enforces and adheres to company policies and procedures to ensure they are consistently being followed. Assists in staffing needs, to include interviewing potential candidates and coordinating with temporaray staffing service as needed. Responsible for ensuring timely attendance of his/her warehouse team in any and all scheduled meetings. Records performance and attendance related issues for his/her team. Works with HR to determine appropriate corrective action as needed. Identifies areas for improvement and makes recommendations to the warehouse manager.Additional Duties And Responsibilities:
May be required to have a valid Class A license depending on facility needs. Performs other duties as assigned Warehouse Manager. Takes on additional responsibility during times the Warehouse Manager is absent.Leadership Core Competencies:
