What You'll Do:
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations within a manufacturing facility, including inventory control, shipping, receiving, material handling, and warehouse personnel management. This position ensures materials are received, stored, and distributed efficiently to support production schedules while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Responsibilities:
Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, shipping, and material distribution. Lead, train, coach, and evaluate warehouse team members to ensure high performance and compliance with company policies. Coordinate material flow to production areas to support manufacturing schedules and minimize downtime. Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation activities. Ensure timely receipt and shipment of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods. Maintain compliance with all safety regulations, GMPs, food safety requirements, and company policies. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shipping errors, and operational issues. Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase warehouse efficiency and reduce costs. Schedule labor and allocate resources to meet operational demands. Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Purchasing, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth operations. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, productivity, and safety metrics. Ensure proper operation and maintenance of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and material handling equipment. Maintain accurate records and utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems effectively.
What We're Looking For:
A high school diploma or equivalent combined with relevant work experience. Bachelor's degree preferred. 2+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environments required. 2 or more years of experience in a supervisory or lead role. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions precisely. Experience using warehouse management software (WMS). Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Proficient in inventory control methods and warehouse management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with warehouse software.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 12 hours per shift. Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift up to 75 pounds with assistance. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, climb stairs, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday. Ability to safely operate or oversee the operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, dust, noise, and moving machinery. Ability to visually inspect products, inventory, labels, and shipping documentation with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, radio, and email. Ability to respond quickly to operational issues, safety concerns, and emergency situations. Ability to sit and work at a computer workstation for extended periods while performing administrative and reporting duties. Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as required to support business needs. Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes, gloves, and other equipment as required. Ability to travel throughout the facility frequently to monitor operations, conduct inspections, and support employees across multiple warehouse and production areas. Why Florida's Natural?
