Fleet Operations Coordinator Location:

Will report to locations in Edwardsville, IL, Granite City, IL, and St.

Peters, MO Pay:

$19.00 - $26.00/hr Work Environment This is a fully onsite position supporting fleet operations for a major client. The role involves managing vehicle fleets across multiple locations, coordinating with vendors and customers, and reporting operational updates to leadership. The Fleet Operations Coordinator will support day-to-day fleet activities, maintain strong client relationships, coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs, and help drive efficiencies across the fleet program. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and track fleet vehicle inventory
• Perform detailed pre-service and post-service vehicle inspections
• Coordinate vehicle washing, detailing, and cleaning activities
• Schedule maintenance, mechanical repairs, and body work with third-party vendors
• Ensure returned vehicles are properly fueled and ready for service
• Maintain accurate fleet records and documentation
• Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and fleet personnel
• Support customer accounts and address operational needs
• Identify opportunities to improve fleet efficiency and reduce costs
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to enhance program performance Required Skills & Experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2+ years of fleet management, vehicle rental, or related operations experience
• Strong customer service and client support experience
• Experience coordinating vehicle maintenance and repair activities
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with data entry and recordkeeping
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain active throughout the workday
• Strong communication and organizational skills
