Job Description
Responsible for daily shift warehouse operations and associated administrative responsibilities
Improve, drive, and maintain shipping efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, training requirements driving productivity, and associate engagement.
Meet customer requirements; ensure productivity levels are reached in an effective and efficient manner and maintain quality performance objectives
Assures product and process quality through adherence to design specifications, engineering routers, and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes and World Class Manufacturing principles.
Complete productivity improvement projects by training and guiding hourly personnel
Contributes to the teams' efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
Learn, understand, and communicate compliance issues related to company guidelines, union contracts, and employment laws.
Provide coaching and guidance as required, including but not limited to the administration of the corrective action and all company policies.
Assure adherence and enforce company policies and procedures including but not limited to Human Resources, Safety, Quality, and Environment
Create and implement cost savings thru LEAN initiatives
Able to perform the following: reach, bend, and lift objects weighing seventy-five pounds to shoulder level or above, read labels and shipping tickets at a height of thirty feet
Ability to work twelve-hour days while operating a powered industrial truck
Ability to step on and off a height of twenty-four inches to operate machinery
Help to balance work load by assisting team members with their daily activities when they fall behind, or direct others to help with workloads of others within the department.
