Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and motivated Inbound Warehouse Supervisor to join our Atlanta-area warehouse team. In this role, you will oversee incoming freight, receiving, container unloading, and put-away operations. You will lead the inbound team, help improve daily workflows, ensure inventory accuracy, and support a safe and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse setting. Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Floor Management Lead, train, coach, and schedule the inbound team, including receivers, unloaders, and forklift operators. Support smooth daily warehouse operations and provide hands-on guidance on the floor. Monitor daily performance metrics, including container unload turnaround time, receiving accuracy, and put-away speed. Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to communicate goals, safety reminders, workload priorities, and team assignments. Help address attendance, performance, and workflow issues in a timely and professional manner. Receiving & Inventory Control Oversee the unloading of ocean containers, LTL/FTL shipments, and small parcel deliveries. Cross-check physical cargo against packing lists, Bills of Lading, and system records. Use Warehouse Management Systems, RF scanners, and related tools to scan, record, and track inbound inventory. Help minimize receiving discrepancies, inventory errors, damages, and shrinkage. Identify, document, and report cargo damages, shortages, or overages to the procurement and supply chain teams. Slotting & Put-Away Optimization Coordinate with outbound and inventory control teams to support slotting strategies for seasonal, high-volume, or fast-moving SKUs. Ensure received goods are properly labeled and put away to designated racking locations according to company SOPs. Maximize staging area and floor space utilization to help prevent dock congestion. Monitor put-away progress and help identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency. Safety & Compliance Enforce OSHA requirements and company safety protocols throughout the inbound area. Promote safe operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and other material handling equipment. Conduct routine checks of receiving docks, dock levelers, staging areas, and warehouse equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment. Report safety concerns, equipment issues, near-misses, or warehouse incidents to management in a timely manner. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution center operations. 1-2 years of supervisory, team lead, or floor leadership experience preferred. Experience in e-commerce fulfillment, 3PL, distribution centers, or cross-border logistics is highly preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus. Forklift certification or OSHA-related safety training is preferred. Experience using Warehouse Management Systems, RF scanners, and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Strong communication skills in English required. Bilingual English / Mandarin Chinese is highly preferred to support communication with cross-border headquarters, vendors, and local teams. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in varying warehouse temperatures, and stand or walk for extended periods on the warehouse floor.
