This role involves supervising a team of warehouse staff, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. The Warehouse Supervisor ensures that operational procedures are followed, productivity targets are met, and safety protocols are strictly adhered to. They play a key role in training staff, resolving issues, and collaborating with other departments to optimize warehouse performance. Essential Functions Supervise, train, and lead a team of warehouse associates in daily operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, storage, and inventory control. Provide feedback, coaching, and training to improve team performance and adherence to company policies. Oversee the movement and storage of goods within the warehouse, ensuring efficient use of space and resources. Enforce warehouse safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure that equipment and workstations are compliant with OSHA and company safety standards. Provide safety training and ensure all team members are aware of safety protocols and the correct use of equipment. Work with the Warehouse Manager to implement continuous improvement initiatives and best practices for workflow optimization. Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities, including shipments, receipts, and inventory transactions. Performs other related duties as assigned. Skill Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management. Asset 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), Microsoft Office, and inventory software. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and best practices in warehouse safety. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Education Requirement High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is a plus.
