2nd Shift Warehouse/ Logistics Team Lead

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee daily operations within our warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse processes, ensuring that all activities are conducted efficiently and safely. This role involves managing a team, maintaining inventory accuracy, and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational procedures. Lead a team of warehouse associates, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of productivity and morale. Oversee inventory control processes, including receiving, storing, and shipping products accurately. Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage order fulfillment efficiently. Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste. Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and promote a safe working environment for all employees. Collaborate with e-commerce teams to streamline order processing and fulfillment operations. Maintain mechanical knowledge of equipment used in the warehouse, including forklifts, to ensure proper operation and maintenance. Skills Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within a warehouse setting. Strong knowledge of inventory control practices and warehouse management systems (WMS). Familiarity with e-commerce operations and logistics management. Proficient in operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement initiatives. Understanding of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety practices. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment maintenance is preferred.
