Salary:
$65,000 ESSENTIAL DUTIES Provide operational leadership and oversight for warehouse, inventory, receiving, distribution, logistics, and asset management operations throughout the District. Supervise, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure operational efficiency, accountability, productivity, and high levels of customer service. Maintain a customer-driven business by developing and maintaining positive working relationships with vendors, contractors, sales representatives, District staff, and community partners. Coordinate warehouse workflow, deliveries, equipment transfers, furniture moves, and distribution of supplies, purchases, and District assets throughout the District. Maintain inventory by conducting monthly physical counts and ongoing audits; reconciling variances; and inputting and maintaining accurate inventory data within District systems. Meet Warehouse operational standards by contributing appropriate and applicable information to strategic plans and operational reviews; implementing productivity, quality, safety, and customer-service standards; troubleshooting operational problems; and identifying system improvements. Meet Warehouse financial standards by assisting with annual budget information, monitoring expenditures, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions. Oversee OSHA compliance regarding Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS/SDS), warehouse safety procedures, and safe equipment operation practices. Coordinate maintenance, inspections, operational readiness, and repair scheduling for warehouse equipment, forklifts, and fleet vehicles. Develop specifications for soliciting bids and quotations from vendors related to Warehouse and Purchasing operations. Support purchasing operations through vendor coordination, procurement workflow support, quote gathering assistance, and bid-related logistics support. Provide in-service training for District staff regarding Warehouse/Purchasing procedures, asset transfer platforms, inventory systems, and ERP/iVisions functions. Assist in providing leadership for District-wide operational initiatives related to warehouse, logistics, inventory, distribution, and operational efficiency. Utilize inventory management systems, ERP software, spreadsheets, and operational reporting tools to maintain accurate records and reporting. Support emergency operational response efforts and District logistical needs as assigned. Participate in departmental meetings, operational planning sessions, professional development opportunities, and District initiatives. Maintain confidentiality regarding District operations, personnel matters, procurement activities, and sensitive information. Maintain effective, cooperative, and professional working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, vendors, staff, students, and District stakeholders. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement, operational efficiency, workplace safety, and quality customer service. Adhere to District policies, regulations, procedures, and departmental expectations. Perform other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/APTITUDES

Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management practices, logistics coordination, and purchasing procedures. Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards, warehouse safety procedures, and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS/SDS) requirements. Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and implement ideas contained in technical documents, reports, regulations, policies, and operational procedures. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal, listening, conflict resolution, and collaborative problem-solving skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with administrators, colleagues, vendors, community members, staff, and students. Ability to effectively communicate Department initiatives through written and verbal communication. Demonstrated initiative and ability to perform with minimal supervision. Ability to work collaboratively as an effective member of operational and administrative teams. Working knowledge of computerized software systems, inventory management platforms, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage operational projects to completion. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment. Demonstrated commitment to regular and reliable attendance. Ability to perform duties in accordance with District policies, procedures, regulations, and departmental expectations.

EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. Minimum of three years of supervisory experience in warehouse operations, logistics, purchasing, inventory management, or related operational fields preferred. Experience in public-sector or K-12 operational environments preferred.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION
(S): Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification as required by the District. Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred or ability to obtain as required by the District.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The noise level in the work environment is often quiet, but may become loud in large group settings. The position requires the commitment of professional working hours that will require the employee to arrive and leave as directed and may require the employee to extend beyond a typical 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. workday. The employee will usually work in indoor temperatures but will be required to work occasionally in outdoor environments.
