Job Description

Description:
The Distribution Supervisor/Administrative Representative is responsible for working directly with customers to coordinate seed shipments and support an efficient distribution process. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventories of bagged product within the warehouse(s), preparing customer Pick Lists and Bills of Lading, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the seed distribution process. Additional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Prepare all required paperwork for customer shipments and relay it to the Warehouse Supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate customer bagged-product inventory in inventory management system, the company's inventory management system.
  • Post all Bills of Lading in inventory management system.
  • Assist with staging customer deliveries to ensure products are prepared according to customer requests.
  • Receive all incoming bagged shipments into inventory management system.
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System.
  • Safely lift and stack materials weighing up to 68 lbs. for extended periods of time.
  • Successfully complete forklift training and obtain the required operator certification.
  • Verify the accuracy of staged loads prior to shipment.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of inventory activity, including inventory counts, product locations, and timely submission of required paperwork.
  • Utilize computer systems to record, enter, and retrieve information as needed.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
  • Perform all work activities safely, efficiently, and professionally.

Requirements:
A positive communicator who works well with others. Someone who follows safety and quality guidelines like second nature. Comfortable with stairs and the occasional ladder climb. Experience with conditioning/maintenance is great, but not required. Able to work independently and stay on track. Must pass a background check and drug test.
