Shift:
2pm - 10pmProvide instruction and guidance to employees and audit work processes and products to confirm production specifications are met. Maintain positive and effective relationships with employees. Direct employees to the appropriate manager regarding policy questions.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standard, policies and procedures. Report any problems, potential problems, hazardous situations to managementInspect products and/or shipments to verify conformance to specificationsReview and approve machine set ups, production samples, and/or shipments as necessaryIdentify and report opportunities for continual improvementWhen necessary, attend production meetings and/or confer with other departments to coordinate production activitiesCoordinate or perform training for new employees, contract workers, and/or guests to ensure safety, quality, and production requirements are understood.
Ensure the "Quality Policy and Objectives" are understood and achievedMay provide oversight of work conducted by junior-level staff and/or review/audit work for accuracyMay update and maintain shift schedules in the time and attendance system, as well as enter attendance transactionsShare your expertise and help train other employees as assignedCarrie out other responsibilities as delegated by management in alignment with evolving business needsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED preferred2 or more years of experience in a manufacturing/operations environmentAble to consistently apply applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and program objectives when carrying out the duties of the jobMust have proficient knowledge of technology including computers and software programs such as MS Office, MAC word processing, spreadsheets, or other programs specific to the job in order to complete job duties successfullyMust have excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively across departments when completing assignmentsMust have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload and make adjustments to meet business needsRegularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and rarely lift in excess of 50 poundsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. The pay range for this role at the noted location is $26.26 to $35.05 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
