About the role:
The Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor leads daily warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, and logistics operations to ensure material availability, inventory accuracy, on-time customer deliveries, and operational efficiency, supervising a team of approximately six associates — including a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator, Material Handlers, Inventory Control Personnel, Logistics Personnel, and a Van Driver / Transportation Support — while managing priorities, supporting overtime needs, and driving accountability across all warehouse and logistics activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the Warehouse & Logistics team through coaching, training, and performance management. Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient warehouse operations. Manage daily Shipping, Receiving, Inventory Control, and Logistics activities. Establish priorities and allocate resources to support customer requirements. Coordinate transportation activities, including support of internal van operations. Manage overtime requirements and staffing coverage based on business needs. Drive inventory accuracy and cycle count compliance. Partner closely with Operations, Planning, Quality, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams. Monitor and improve On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance. Identify and resolve material flow issues impacting production and customer deliveries. Support Oracle transactions, receiving processes, inventory movements, and shipping documentation. Develop standard work and continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse and logistics processes. Maintain accountability for team performance and execution.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in Warehouse, Logistics, Inventory Control, or Supply Chain Operations. Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred. ERP experience (Oracle preferred). Experience supporting manufacturing operations. Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
