Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of order fulfillment including order packaging, custom packaging, pick, pack and scan, and shipping. Monitors and manages delivery times, shipment quantities, and methods to meet customer requirements. Identify and prioritize fulfillment cost efficiencies. Continually reviews the progress of orders through the packaging/fulfillment process to determine that promised shipment dates, quantities, and packaging of the product conforms to specifications. Works collaboratively with Manufacturing, Sales, and Customer Service teams to coordinate order entry and order processing. Requires daily, weekly and monthly preparation and planning to identify and prioritize action steps, set timelines, identify and allocate resources necessary to accomplish departmental metrics and objectives. Monitors back orders daily Prioritize hot orders Develop and monitor performance standards to drive key KPIs. Ensures effective cross-functional communication occurs to resolve issues and accomplish goals Identifies, coaches, and develops team members through training, coaching, support, and delegation as appropriate. Spend most of the day on the Distribution floor to provide visible leadership and drive a motivated, positive, and productive workforce.
Qualifications, Training, Education & Experience:
BA in Business or related field, is preferred. Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing related supply chain fulfillment and logistics. Solid understanding of order management, global shipping carriers, along with the technology used to support these areas. Solid analytical abilities. Must be a self-starter and be able to successfully execute initiatives with minimal guidance and accomplish stated goals. Demonstrated history of meeting high Customer Service and Customer fulfillment metrics. Broad working knowledge of distribution processes and operations. Thorough knowledge of RF Scanner and WMS systems functionality. Effective oral and written communication skills. Must be able to work effectively as part of a leadership team. Demonstrated ability with the full MS Office Suite of products including and especially, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Experience with Alere and Sage systems is a plus.
