Warehouse Supervisor

Warehouse Supervisor Job Description:

• Coordinate logistics operator routine and tasks;
• Operate forklift and Combilift;
• Material handling, picking and packing;
• Load and unload trucks and containers;
• Warehouse operation coordination: Development of purchasing activities in order to acquire licenses, systems, services and assets for the FTZ warehouse.
• Process warehouse inventory and maintains database (control of receiving and shipping, physical inventory and cycle counting);
• Coordinate and schedule movement of the products throughout the warehouse including storage and shipment;
• Implement daily operational and shipping plan, arranging for excess stock to be stored in the warehouse;
• Coordinate daily flow of products by modifying storage disposition;
• Identify and reports slow-moving products, storage discrepancies, risk of operation and inefficiencies;
• Preparation and monitoring of daily and monthly KPIs of the operation; Process, organize and file documents and forms related to the warehouse operation;
• Manage contractors, service providers and suppliers related to the warehouse operation;
• Manage warehouse supplies (request, inventory, control);
• Input data on the system (ERP and WMS);
• Data analysis of figures related to the warehouse operation;
• Interface with other company's depts. such as management, logistics, finance, quality, purchasing, sales and administrative;
• Warehouse capacity management;
• Support Purchasing Team with special projects;
• Support and contact with customers;
• Application and improvement of operational and quality procedures; Qualifications
• Solid experience in warehousing operations
• Desirable prior experience with: Steel bundles, Forklift (15500 lbs capacity) and Combilift.
• Job Leadership
• Hands on for both warehouse execution and back office activities
• Desirable bachelor degree
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as many warehouse items are cumbersome and heavy
• Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing

$22.00 - $30.00 per hour Ability to commute/relocate: Indianapolis, IN 46241: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
