Job Description

The job of a Fulfillment Supervisor is to directly lead the daily fulfillment operations of the Fulfillment Center while focusing on safety, efficiency, accuracy, and timely delivery of orders to customers. The Fulfillment Supervisor oversees the picking, packing, and box-making departments, directly emphasizing flow and productivity. They use the number of incoming orders to determine the best efficiency possible while consistently hitting shipping goals. They ensure that box-making, picking, and packing areas are sufficiently supplied with work and a workforce to contribute effectively. This person also maintains good workplace morale and can discipline according to the handbook policies. This position is categorized as compliance critical and, as such, requires and is assigned specific responsibility for ensuring compliance with all company requirements.
LOCATION & COMMITMENTS
Full-time role based at our Liberty Fulfillment Center, Monday - Thursday (40 hours per week) Overtime may be required to ensure all shipping deadlines are met Weekend work is rare but can occasionally be necessary
RESPONSIBILITIES
Keep safety, efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness a priority Display a high work ethic to drive employees to the highest efficiency levels Discipline employees as needed per company rules and regulations Assign workers production line tasks Evaluate incoming orders and set up the production line accordingly Optimize production line efficiency by monitoring productivity and quality Identify and resolve production line problems promptly Lead, train, and develop production line workers Collaborate with other sections within the Fulfillment Center (especially the Processing Office) to ensure that orders are completed on time Ensure the quality of products by implementing QC procedures Be knowledgeable of all company products and processes, including all warehouse systems Be able to update spreadsheets and create reports for picking/packing efficiency Works collaboratively with other team members Maintain a fully operational, safe, and efficient work environment Maintain a clean and organized work area Other duties as reasonably assigned
