The Warehouse Lead is a key leader assisting the Warehouse Operations Manager to meet that goal. The Warehouse Lead is responsible for people development, expense management and driving the operational aspects of the business. This role has a broad range of responsibility and reports directly to the Delivery Center Warehouse Operations Manager. Some of the functions the Warehouse Lead will perform: Train and support through hands on teaching and coaching using our Company valuesExecutes and supports daily prepping and truck staging of merchandise for home deliveryEnsure truck prepping lanes are accurate and ready for loadingEnsure accuracy of physical and digital inventory locationsEnsure proper execution of Standard Operating Procedures related to the inventory processOversee the process of prepping and loading trucksCommunicate line damages to Office Operations Supervisor to ensure relay to customer and appropriate documenting of issuesManage and train for a uniform and consistent wrapping process for all stockDrive damage prevention by communicating damage data and coaching to team members on root causeEnsure that safety requirements (proper belts, safety glasses, etc.) are in place daily with teamAchieve operational excellence via execution of the company standards to keep a clean, well-organized facility Embody our values: Serve Others and Own it.
