The Role:
Hands-On Leadership We are looking for a dependable Warehouse Team Lead to run our daily sorting room operations and keep our facility moving smoothly. This is a perfect role for an experienced warehouse professional who loves variety, enjoys working with their hands, and knows how to motivate a small team by example. No prior experience with natural fibers? No problem. We will fully train you on the grading and sorting process.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead by
Example:
Run the daily workflow of our fiber sorting room and train a small, dedicated staff.
Operations & Logistics:
Handle inventory, organize racking, and coordinate the loading/unloading of trucks.
Equipment Operation:
Manage and operate fiber baling equipment (we'll train you) and prepare large bales for shipment.
Safety & Organization:
Maintain a clean, highly efficient, and safe warehouse environment.
Facilities Management:
Hire and supervise maintenance contractors, and perform minor facilities maintenance tasks. Qualifications (What It Takes to Succeed): To keep our team strong, we are looking for specific traits. Please ensure you meet the following before applying:
Proven Reliability:
A stable work history with a track record of staying in previous roles for at least 2+ years.
Warehouse Experience:
Solid experience in shipping/receiving, inventory management, and material handling.
Leadership Chops:
Prior experience as a lead, supervisor, or foreman where you were responsible for guiding others.
Mechanically Inclined:
Demonstrated ability to understand facilities maintenance issues and hire and supervise contractors to provide solutions. You are comfortable around machinery, enjoy figuring out how things work, and aren't afraid to get your hands dirty.
Tech & Talk:
Basic computer skills and strong, clear communication skills.
