Job Description
Warehouse Supervisor - Full-Time At K&B Ace Hardware , we're more than a hardware store—we're your neighbors. As a locally owned and operated business, helping our community is our top priority. Our Warehouse Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring products are received, organized, and available so our customers have everything they need to complete their projects. If you're organized, dependable, and enjoy staying active in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to have you on our team. Previous warehouse or hardware experience is a plus, but it's not required. We provide comprehensive training and are committed to helping you develop new skills and build a long-term career. Many of our leaders started in entry-level positions, and we believe in promoting from within whenever possible. What You'll Do Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments accurately using handheld and computer inventory systems. Organize merchandise in the warehouse and outdoor storage areas. Safely operate a forklift (training and certification provided if needed). Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and lumber yard. Assist customers with loading merchandise and services such as propane exchanges and refills. Work closely with the sales floor to ensure merchandise is stocked and available. Take initiative to solve problems and support the team wherever needed. What We're Looking For Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic. Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently with minimal supervision. Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly and safely operate warehouse equipment. Basic computer and math skills.
