Job Description
Warehouse Lead CM Heating & Cooling CM Heating & Cooling is a growing HVAC company specializing in residential and commercial heating and cooling services. We are currently seeking a reliable, organized, and motivated Warehouse Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of warehouse and inventory management experience , preferably within the HVAC industry. Position Summary The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing materials and equipment, and supporting field technicians with timely deliveries and stock control. Responsibilities Maintain and manage inventory of HVAC materials, parts, tools, and company equipment. Track warehouse inventory as well as stock assigned to company vehicles. Organize, rotate, and properly label inventory items. Develop and maintain inventory control systems for job costing and accountability purposes. Coordinate with office staff regarding materials used for ongoing projects. Communicate regularly with the General Manager regarding inventory discrepancies, stock levels, and process improvements. Maintain the warehouse clean, safe, and organized at all times. Pick up and deliver parts, materials, and equipment to job sites or the shop as needed. Process warranties and returned items while coordinating with the accounting department to ensure proper credits are issued. Load and unload deliveries from vendors and suppliers. Assist with other warehouse-related duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience required . Proficient in Microsoft Excel and capable of using basic inventory management software to track, organize, and maintain accurate inventory records. HVAC inventory experience is highly preferred. Strong organizational and inventory management skills. Computer literate and comfortable using Microsoft Office applications. Ability to create and maintain inventory tracking systems. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods when necessary. Ability to safely climb ladders and move equipment/materials. Must follow all company safety guidelines and procedures. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Must be willing to undergo a background check.
