Job Description

Job Title:
Warehouse Team Lead Job Summary :
The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the order fulfillment process within the warehouse, ensuring that orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently. This role involves leading a team of fulfillment associates, coordinating daily tasks, and maintaining high standards of productivity and accuracy.
Essential Job Functions :
Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of fulfillment associates. Assign daily tasks and monitor performance to ensure completion. Provide training, guidance, and support to team members. Oversee the order picking, packing, and shipping processes. Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and in a timely manner. Verify that all shipments are properly labeled and documented. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Implement and enforce warehouse policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders. Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the team.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus. Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics role, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory position. Strong understanding of replenishment processes and inventory management. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in warehouse management software. Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills. Good verbal and written communication skills.
Physical/Mental Requirements :
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds and/or pull to 100lbs.) and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Reach into bins at various levels, push and pull carts, and utilize warehouse information systems. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to warehouse operations. Ability to stand for extended periods.
