Position Summary:
The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and documenting the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, tooling, supplies, and equipment moving to and from the company. The position ensures all incoming and outgoing shipments are accurately processed, verified, and documented electronically. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage and process all incoming and outgoing shipments in an accurate and timely manner. Coordinate and communicate with staff and department leaders regarding the shipment and receipt of materials, products, and supplies. Verify incoming shipments by comparing packing slips and shipping documentation against received items to ensure accuracy in quantities and contents. Receive deliveries, process receiving documentation promptly, and maintain accurate inventory records. Complete all required Quality Management System (QMS) documentation accurately, thoroughly, and in accordance with record retention requirements. Package, ship, and track tooling sent to external vendors for repair or refurbishment. Perform daily forklift inspections and coordinate routine preventive maintenance to ensure safe equipment operation. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving area. Qualifications Willing to train the right candidate with a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods.
