Job Description

Warehouse Supervisor - Casco Bay Food and Beverage a 100% Employee Owned (ESOP) company is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Lewiston. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for planning, organization and monitoring the receiving, storage and distribution of the various products received from multiple suppliers. The Warehouse Supervisor ensures a smooth and consistent operation, so products are located and distributed to proper locations in an effective and efficient manner. The Warehouse Supervisor directly supervises the Warehouse Lead and Order Fulfillment Specialists.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plans, directs, trains, motivates, monitors and evaluates performance of warehouse associates. Monitors unloading of all materials, ensuring materials are staged for counting and inspection and receiving reports accurately report material received. Monitors and reports inventory for waste and cost of goods sold, as required. Ensures accurate approval of invoices and/or packing slips in a timely manner. Resolves any discrepancies of receiving, storage, and distribution issues. Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair, and requisitions for replacement. Ensures warehouse associates ability to safely operate according to standards and procedures. Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. Maximizes warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Experience and Qualifications:
2 years supervisory experience required 2 years warehouse management required
