Fleet Operations Coordinator Location:
Dearborn, MI Pay:
$22.77+/Hour Fully Onsite We are seeking a detail-oriented Fleet Operations Coordinator to support vehicle fleet management, logistics, scheduling, and testing activities in a fast-paced automotive environment. This temporary position is ideal for candidates with experience in fleet operations, automotive logistics, vehicle administration, dealership service coordination, or transportation management . Job Responsibilities Coordinate fleet vehicle scheduling, maintenance, fueling, detailing, inspections, and repair activities. Manage vehicle availability and organize fleet, prototype, and test asset movement between facilities. Maintain vehicle records, key inventory, fuel card tracking, and fleet usage documentation. Process driver authorizations, access requests, certifications, and vehicle compliance requirements. Support vehicle testing, benchmarking activities, ride evaluations, and data collection efforts. Monitor team communications, answer fleet-related inquiries, and help maintain operational procedures and policies. Assist with vehicle transportation, deliveries, pickups, and support for special events and project activities. Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or Associate Degree required. 1-3 years of experience in fleet operations, automotive logistics, rental fleet administration, dealership operations, or related fields. Experience using fleet management software, scheduling platforms, digital calendars, or vehicle tracking systems preferred. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Interest or exposure to automotive technology, HMI, User Interface (UI), or User Experience (UX) concepts is a plus. Valid, unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record required.
