This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in supporting field operations through organization, logistics, and teamwork. The successful candidate will play a key role in warehouse operations, install coordination, inventory management, and technician support while helping maintain an efficient and safe working environment. Position Summary The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for staging and delivering equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating material transfers, and supporting installation teams with the tools and equipment needed for daily operations. This position works closely with warehouse leadership, install technicians, and operations staff to ensure materials and equipment flow efficiently throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities Install Support & Equipment Staging Stage equipment and materials for daily installation jobs. Serve as a primary warehouse contact for installation technicians. Label and document equipment and serial numbers for each project. Coordinate with warehouse leadership to source non-stock equipment and materials. Maintain and update daily job tracking systems. Inventory & Warehouse Operations Organize, stock, and rotate equipment and materials. Monitor inventory levels and communicate low-stock needs. Receive deliveries and place inventory in designated warehouse locations. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently. Pick, secure, and stage equipment for field teams. Transfers & Logistics Coordination Respond quickly to urgent equipment and material requests. Coordinate deliveries between the warehouse, vendors, and job sites. Ensure timely and accurate transfer of parts and equipment. Warehouse Cleanliness & Safety Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and yard environment. Assist with scrap metal recycling and disposal. Keep entrances, walkways, and loading areas clear, including snow and ice removal when necessary. Report facility maintenance concerns to warehouse leadership. Sheet Metal Fabrication Support Learn and assist with basic custom sheet metal fabrication as needed. Training provided for qualified candidates. Qualifications Valid driver's license with insurable driving record. Ability to pass background screening and drug testing requirements. High school diploma or GED required. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment. Comfortable working in varying Michigan weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in and around box trucks. Basic technology proficiency for communication and operational systems. Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment. Strong commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and customer service.
