The ideal candidate will provide leadership, ensure safety and productivity, coordinate workflow, and serve as the primary point of contact between warehouse associates and management. This position requires strong leadership skills, warehouse experience, and the ability to maintain operational excellence while meeting production goals. Schedule 12-hour shifts
Day Shift:
6:00 AM - 6:00
PM Night Shift:
6:00 PM - 6:00 AM Rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays as required Employment Status Independent Contractor (W-9) during the first 90 days Direct Hire opportunity after 90 days , based on performance, attendance, and business needs No company benefits are provided during the initial 90-day W-9 period Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise warehouse associates during assigned shifts. Plan, assign, and monitor daily work activities. Ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. Train, coach, and mentor new and existing warehouse employees. Monitor attendance, punctuality, and overall workforce performance. Conduct shift start-up meetings and communicate daily objectives. Coordinate staffing assignments to maximize efficiency. Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions. Maintain inventory accuracy through proper material handling practices. Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA safety standards, and warehouse procedures. Investigate and report safety incidents, near misses, and equipment damage. Work closely with warehouse management to improve operational performance. Complete production reports, shift documentation, and performance records. Assist in resolving employee concerns professionally and promptly. Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment. QualificationsRequired Minimum 3 years of warehouse leadership or supervisory experience Experience leading teams of 15-50 employees Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics Experience with inventory control and material movement Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and email Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English High School Diploma or GED Preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Forklift certification and operating experience Experience in high-volume manufacturing or distribution environments Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during a 12-hour shift Frequently lift up to 50 pounds Bend, squat, twist, push, pull, and reach throughout the workday Work in varying warehouse temperatures Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Leadership Expectations The successful candidate will: Lead by example with professionalism and integrity.
