Job Description

Purpose:
Responsible for coordinating warehouse activities including receiving, inventory control, material movement, and shipping operations while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company standards.
Roles and responsibilities:
Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, material movement, storage, picking, staging, and shipping activities. Maintain inventory accuracy through execution of cycle counts, investigation of discrepancies, and reconciliation of inventory records. Perform accurate SAP transactions related to receiving, inventory movements, shipments, and material tracking. Coordinate inbound and outbound freight, including small parcel, LTL, and international shipments. Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, freight documentation, and hazardous/dangerous good paperwork when required. Coordinate carrier pickups, customer-routed shipments, and communication with freight providers and outside vendors. Receive incoming materials, verify documentation, and ensure materials are properly identified, labeled, and stored. Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment while supporting company safety initiatives. Support warehouse process improvements, including inventory control initiatives, 6S/True North activities, and continuous improvement efforts. Provide backup support for shipping, receiving, logistics coordination, and other warehouse functions as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements -
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing experience. Experience working with ERP systems;
SAP S/4HANA
Cloud experience preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation. Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and implement solutions. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across departments. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to a team environment. Proficient computer skills and ability to quickly learn new systems and processes. Knowledge of freight documentation, transportation terminology, carrier requirements, and shipping processes. Ability to read, write, and speak English, follow verbal and written instructions, and perform basic mathematical calculations. Current valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Familiarity with material handling equipment; forklift certification required or ability to obtain certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with
SAP S/4HANA
Cloud. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar ERP systems. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with hazardous material shipping requirements and documentation. Associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, operations, or related field.
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Two- or four-year degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field preferred. This position is responsible for maintaining the quality of finished products essential to customer satisfaction.
Pay:
$24.00 - $26.00 per hour
