This role is vital in maintaining a high standard of accuracy and productivity within a fast-paced distribution environment. Your leadership will ensure our customers receive their orders accurately and on time while maintaining a safe workplace for everyone.   • Lead and coordinate daily fulfillment activities including receiving and processing purchase orders, order picking, packing, and shipping to ensure timely and accurate processing of customer orders
  • Oversees work and provides technical guidance to shipping staff to ensure that customer orders are quickly and accurately packed for shipping.
  • Enters orders received into invoicing system and prepares for fulfillment by shipping staff
  • Communicates with customers, brokers, and sales representatives to resolve issues, inquiries, and provide general customer service in connection with the receipt of orders
  • Confers with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments
  • Coordinates effectively with UPS, FedEx, and other vendors to schedule pickups, resolve disputes, and maintain day-to-day operations
  • Establishes guidelines for efficiency and safety, and implement quality control measures during order fulfillment to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Observes and monitors work to ensure that workers conform to shipping standards and procedures
  • Tracks and manages inventory of shipping materials
  • Promote a culture of respect and an atmosphere of teamwork in order to foster a positive working environment.
Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse management or as a warehouse supervisor with hands-on knowledge of warehouse operations Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications, experience in communicating professionally via email and phone, and familiarity with operating in various customer portals and databases Basic math skills for inventory counts, order calculations, and data entry accuracy; attention to detail; organization; critical thinking Good interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and management skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time as well as the ability to perform repetitive manual tasks throughout the shift
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and multitask
  • No allergies to natural fragrances
